The GG 1073 is a three-stage microphone preamplifier based on the classic 1290 circuit from the 1970s. It is a high-performance, low-noise preamp. The sound is big, punchy and complements any genre. This transformer-based preamp design utilizes Carnhill/UK input and output transformers, delivering a rich, expansive sound signature with a full, thick, silky, and detailed sonic character.
